Ruth is amazing! I was very overwhelmed about my project before she joined my team. With her calming presence, unique & creative ideas, her talent shone through. Collaborating seamlessly with my contactor and I, her communication and organization skills were highlighted. Ruth was a huge asset to my remodeling project. Taking the opportunity to understand my tastes, likes, dislikes, color palettes, styles and more Ruth is an asset. Shopping for me created more time & less stress in my day. And shopping with me was always such a treat as her personality & style is delightful. She was an amazing time saver as well as wealth of information. She can pull together the most eclectic or the most elegant designs. I'm so looking forward to my next project with her.

We could not be more pleased with the guidance and services provided by Ruth Axtell (Ruth Axtell Interiors) in our recent remodel project. Ruth was knowledgeable, professional and a delight to work with, from her initial design, through selecting and overseeing subcontractors, helping us select furnishings and even shopping for accessories, She had a wonderful sense of our taste and the style of our home. We were able to update our home while incorporating family treasures and making the project feel like our own. Ruth was there through the whole project offering advice and /or services as needed. The final result exceeded our expectations. We could not have accomplished this result without the artistic talent and services of Ruth Axtell. Forever thankful!

My wife and I struggled for years about how to refresh our first floor. We could not come to agreement on colors, window treatments, paint or wall coverings and so on. I had met Ruth through work she had done at the hospital where I worked. A short chat later Ruth was visiting us at our home in Needham, MA.

From the moment she arrived, she immediately began getting an understanding of our particular leanings with color palettes, style, and was developing a plan of action. Within 20 minutes we were selecting wall coverings, and paint colors. Ruth brought an incredibly craftsman to the renovations of our dining room, living room, family room and kitchen.

Ruth coordinated the recovering of dining room. chairs, sofa and loveseat. Crown molding was created for the dining and living room and in the entry foyer. New window treatments and shades throughout the first floor, a new mantle was built over our gas fireplace. We purchased art from several area artists and had a stained-glass window created for an internal passageway. We could not be more pleased with the final outcomes. The work was two projects completed over the course of about a year to accommodate the talented crew that Ruth brought to the jobs. We highly recommend Ruth Axtell Interiors without reservation. She is great to work with, does not leave a single detail unattended, and is so talented bringing ideas to us that we never might have considered.

Ruth is wonderful to work with. As a busy professional, I knew I needed someone I could depend on and trust to oversee all aspects of remodeling my kitchen, 2 bathrooms and flooring. Ruth made sure my project remained a priority, even during a pandemic. I highly recommend her and would definitely hire her again.

Ruth Axtell made my shower renovation go smoothly and beautifully. Her wonderful ideas and suggestions are spot on because she really listened to us. Ruth sent us an excellent carpenter and plumber who were very courteous and highly skilled. Ruth is as lovely as she is talented. OMG What a great designer, Ruth did it all. I needed a bedroom, bath and family room for my elderly parents. Ruth came to my home, with contractors, to best figure out what the possible solutions would be. She drew a plan, hired the contractors, coordinated them. She was professional, had great knowledge, and eye for detail and quality. Not only that, she was on deadline and budget. She really was just wonderful. She is talented, and such a nice person to work with. I will say something I NEVER thought was possible with a remodel, It was a great experience. I will never again hesitate to do a project it I can hire Ruth. I did nothing, she did everything. FANTASTIC job. Thank you Ruth!

Ruth Axtell was in charge of remodeling our master bathroom and guest bathroom. She not only contributed to the design of the bathrooms, but hired an experienced, well-qualified contractor that essentially gutted both bathrooms and rebuilt them to the specifications. Ruth listened carefully to our design ideas and was pivotal in making sure our joint decisions on design aspects were the right ones. She followed up on any problems with deliveries and made sure that there were minimal delays in construction. The fact that she is now assisting us in our master bedroom redesign is testimony to our confidence in her abilities and timeless taste.
